Steve Fish and Ed Hodgson travelled to Brussels for a meeting with Climate-KIC representatives from across Europe regarding new project initiatives. Present were representatives from Holland, Spain, France, Hungary as well as the UK.

Dr Mike Morris conducted a tour of the BEACON pilot plant facility for a visit by farmers and researchers from the Republic of Ireland with Germinal Ireland – to demonstrate that grass can have different, novel uses.
Mike Morris and Steve Fish attended a meeting in the Visualisation Centre, UWA. Mike has had a feasibility study funded to look at the biorefining potential of IBERS crops.

Selwyn Owen and Steve Fish went to Southampton to attend the Praxis Conference on Knowledge Exchange in Universities. As a result they were both able to build business links.
